Story
Kristin has captured this stunning beetle mid feast on a garden rose in Philladelphia, USA. They first arrived to USA in 1916 from Japan, where they are only considered a minor pest because their population is controlled by natural predators. Invasive species are capable of causing extinctions of native plants and animals, reducing biodiversity, competing with native organisms for limited resources, and completely altering habitats.
